Post from deep down in my heart
I can't believe I'm actually feeling this way. As the days are passing by, and it gets nearer to the opening of the semester, which means I'll be going to Serdang for my final year, I actually feel a bit sad. Sad because *cough* I wouldn't be in Kampung Baru. *cough cough*
I can't wake up late and walk to the hospital or come back to the hostel any time I want anymore.
I can't go back at hour I want anymore. (The college in Serdang has a curfew. Damn!)
I can't walk less than 20 feet away to get a good meal or just buy a can of Coke.
I don't have a wide variety of food choice.
I don't have the luxury of walking 5 minutes to the nearest LRT station which is Kg Baru Putra LRT.
Damn, I never knew I would miss the hostel in Kg Baru this much. After all I spent one year of my life there, the walls heard all the curses I've said, all the secrets I've poured out, the carpet was where I walked, the bed was where I lay down at night sleeping, or wondering or on my phone chatting.
Long gone are the days where I can open the door and see KLCC bright and clear, the beautiful neon lights shining.
I can't see the fireworks for Merdeka for free again this year. Or free fireworks for the new year?
Why do we have to move again this time? *sigh*

25 random facts about me :)
I've been tagged by Miss Anot. I think I've been tagged this very same "25 randoms" by Azlin before (betul tak Mama?) Well here it goes.
Rules: Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it’s because I want to know more about you!
1. I was born on 25th November, almost 10 days before my due date 5th December. I guess I couldn't wait to meet the world.
2. My queen sized bed at home is half covered by teddy bears given by ex-es and close friends. I guess I seem tough on the outside but I'm actually quite a softie at heart. Tee-hee.
3. The colour of my laptop now matches the colour of my room at home. Yeah, my room is painted pink. *another softie point* :P
4. I spend a lot of money on good food, like Chilli's, Carl's Junior, TGI.... then the money in my bank account usually depletes before the end of the semester. :'( I've been trying to save since I realized this fact btw. :P
5. I love cats. :D
6. I love driving, it helps me think. And I drive a manual car ok. :P
7. I could spend hours on the computer playing computer games, or in the arcade.
8. I enjoy watching 'The Big Bang Theory' series so much more than watching 'House M.D'. I feel like I'm attending a lecture when I'm watching House. Therefore I would tend to get sleepy and doze of to sleep. *And if Sheldon is out of the show, I'm sure The Big Bang Theory is no more* The Big Bang Theory is the bomb weh.. It lifts up my spirit whenever I'm down, listening to all those jokes. :P
9. My idea of Prince Charming back then when I was in high school used to seem like one of those J-Pop stars, but now it has somehow evolved to look like Jehan Miskin. Or Shia LaBeouf. I like the scruffy look ya-all. The beard thingy. (Btw I've been following Shia since Even Stevens on Disney Channel -but he just seems like an annoying kid back then) Muahaha. :P
10. Sometimes I would act really cold towards a person I just met, especially if I know the probability of meeting the person again would be very, very small. Why build bridges to connect with these people when you know it's going to be broken in the next 10 minutes? I couldn't bear with the pain. That's why I would rather be cold in the first place.
11. I like pain, but not heartaches. Rather, I prefer to feel the pain from piercing (and I'm not talking about ear piercing here) or from working out. That pain, is worth it. :)
12. I have a few favourite colours, topping it off was blue (besides that I like purple and white). Now, it has evolved to become red (But I still like blue, purple and white). :P
13. Everytime I have holidays, I would buy a few novels to read during the holidays. I usually end up finishing these novels before the semester starts. My favourite author of all time is Sidney Sheldon, but now I've shifted my attention to novels written by our fellow Asians, such as Amy Tan, Natsuo Kirino, Amir Muhammad, Tunku Halim and so on.
14. I enjoy watching comedy so much more than I enjoy watching thriller movies, or romance. My all time favourite romance movie would be "Definitely, Maybe". :D My all time tear-jerker movie would be "Click". Who could expect that Adam Sandler the comedian would be acting in a movie that caused me to cry through out??

15. I enjoy the sound of the strumming of the guitar. It just hits the right notes in my heart. Damn. If a guy strums a song for me using his guitar, I would probably fall for him that very second. *sigh* I also have a thing for classical music, such as piano pieces, or violins, or even the orchestra. I am sappy like that yo. Going to Kinokuniya in KlCC brings me to a little piece of heaven, because they are always playing some piano piece on.
16. I've always wanted to have curly, long hair like Miley Cyrus (did I spell that right?), but I never kept my hair as long as that to perm it, and even when I did perm it, it was such a hassle to take care I then chop it off. T_T
17. I love cooking! If I can have it my way, I'd like to cook every single time I eat! I enjoy baking too. The only thing I've ever baked are brownies, cakes and cookies. So that's pretty good right? And I like to experiment when cooking. Somewhat like the rat in "Ratatouille" huh?
18. My dream car would be a Mini Cooper. Damn, I like the look of this car. Very sleek. Everytime I get to see one, or pass by one in the parking lot, I wouldn't stop but check the inside of the Mini Cooper. But I also like the look of the X Trail. Hurm. Hard to pick. But I still like my car.
19. I name the stuff that I have. My car : Brandon. My old lappy : Kimberly. My new laptop? Haven't given her a name yet. Yes it is a her. Coz she's pink! Huhuhuu. I'll think of a name. My handphone? I haven't given her a name yet too. It's a girl too. Coz I'm gedik like that yo. :P *yeah, you can go puke now* :P
20. When I'm so pissed off, I would tell my besties about it. If I'm even more pissed off, I'd blog about it. If the level of pissed off is more than that, I'd just go to sleep. Sleep = medicine. And I'll wake up to a whole new day to look forward to, something new to hope for, something new to believe in.
21. I tend to fall a lot. And get my ankle sprained. I've sprained my ankle a few times actually. Thing is, I usually fall when I'm wearing flats, instead of when I'm using stilletos, or anything at least 3 inches high. I guess I am out of balance. :P
22. I'm a people person. I need people to help me feel good, to feel alive but then again, I always get upset too due to other people. I guess that's life, you get the good and the bad of everything. What I'm saying here is, I'm not an island. Living alone is possible, but it would be hard to get through. I appreciate my family and friends. Having them around makes life easier to get by. Love them lots. :)
23. I don't eat durian. I don't eat budu or cencaluk. I don't eat a lot of stuff actually. Haha. Choosy je lebih.
24. I grew up being a tomboy so even now when I'm a young adult my clothes are not that girly. I thought that I would never wear heels (like ever!) but I changed my mind. Huhu.
25. I want to go places later on when I have the money. US, UK, Japan, France and so on. And of course I'll bring my family along. What is vacation without anyone else to share the happiness with right? :)

Urbanscapes 09'
Describe urbanscapes in one word?
AWESOME. :D
My main reason why I went is basically because, I am in KL. And just causeeeee I can go. :P
But what I saw at KLPac definitely exceeded my expectations. The only thing I felt was not enough was the time, there were to many events happening at the same time where I cannot divide myself to attend all of them. *sigh*
Our first stop was at Cinescapes (movies and live music picked by KLue readers), where I accompanied my friend, Ayu, to watch Gadoh *yet again*, but I enjoyed it *yet again :P*.
At the same time, there were exhibitions of photographs outside the Cinescapes, which includes Urbanscraps, 24hour KL Photography Project and so on. Watching the pictures through the multimedia presentation makes me want to have my own DSLR to snap pictures ya know. Damn, where did all my money go? :'(
Then we proceeded to watch some gigs in The Box where basically we are entertained by a 'rojak' of musical offerings. There were no seats in The Box, everyone sat down on the floor with a mighty lot of poses, as long as they are comfortable. The lights on stage did complement the ambience in the room, making the songs sung by the artists much more easier on the ears, not that the songs were not pleasant either. :)
Got to see Zalila Lee, I was in awe by her song "Nothing but a lie", I could actually feel myself drown in her music. Like butt seriously. Too bad, I could only get to hear 2 of her songs, her showcase was coming to an end when I entered The Box.
The next act I got to see was "The Sofa Sessions", and they were so comical, I think they should be stand up comedy if singing doesn't work out for them. Haha! I think the chances of that happening is very, very minute though. Because their songs were that good :)
They started of by saying "Banyak nye orang keluar? Tak de nak dengar kite ke?" Damn. :P They proceeded by singing songs about circumcision (like seriously) and also ghosts at home. Say what? But their more serious numbers were really enjoyable too, listening to the deep set vocals makes my mind wander off while my body was there listening to the strummings of the guitar and the beat of the drums. (Or what they call the other guy was playing)
Went out and was entertained by "Rather Peculiar Theatre" (RPT), which was part of the Street Performances section of Urbanscapes. Too bad that too, was almost to an end. The one skit we get to watch had a lot of the phrase "Oh My God" in it, where the two ladies were saying it in the gedik-est way possible. At which, Ayu said to me "Damn she sounds like you" Say what?? *raises eyebrow*
RPT in action 2
The last act we went to was The Lawn Stage - where the bands were performing. Was in time to watch Pop Shuvit performing "Marabahaya". No picture though, because the picture I took of Pop Shuvit didn't turn out right :P
So we cam-whored to show all the fun in our faces instead. :P
(Ayu seems blah here, tired kowt :P And I'm not that dark anymore.. heehee..but still need some time to go to original skin colour though)
Then it was time for Yuna to perform. The crowd got bigger then. Hee, I guess she is that damn mainstream now. :)
The best picture I could get of Yuna. She sounded great by the way. The new songs she performed were also great.
AWESOME. :D

Fake facts
I heard the most ridiculous thing ever yesterday. The influenza A virus of strain H1N1 (for swine flu) could spread through sms.
Like hello?
If it did spread to sms, wouldn't everyone be dead by now?

I wonder what is the mechanism of the spread by sms. *chuckles*
This virus spread by air droplets k.
p/s : btw, if it really did spread through sms, we could all just chuck our phones through the toilet bowl to save our lives. :P

Cat Museum, Semariang
Charles Pierre Boudelaire (1821-1867)
French poet, and the famous author of collection of verses "The Flowers Of Evil", also discovered the sensuality of the cat.
He described what he felt while his fingers caressed its head, the elastic back, the electric body of the female house cat, paralleling these sensations to being in contact with a beautiful woman. These significant verse of Boudelaire read "Come my beautiful cat, on to my loving heart - pull back your claws and let me lose in myself in your beautiful eyes - medley of sapphire and agate." :)

The passing of a great alpha male
This effing blog is starting to sound like a "Cuti-cuti Malaysia" advertisement. LOL. :P
2 weeks into my one month holidays, I've been hanging out with friends despite my lack of money in my bank account (and having minute donations from my parents and working friends --- damn, I'm pathetic when I'm out of money :P).
I'm looking forward to watch Transformers 2 this coming Wednesday, but everyone seems to be working!!! :'(
Urbanscapes seems cool too. Am trying to drag as many people to go with me.

Haven't seen him since I left for Kuching almost 8 weeks ago. I guess he's dead now. (Yeah, I call Nelly him, not IT)
Well, he has been in so many fights before this anyway, I guess his time has come.
I'm just so.. urm.. kecewa because if he really did pass away, I didn't get to bury him.
He's been my cat since I was in Form 4 (almost 7 years yo!).

And everytime I studied, he will accompany me through the wee hours of the day.
So this entry is for you Nelly, you've been great while it lasted.

Retreat Resort at Siar Beach, Lundu
After the tiring hike up Gunung Gading (please refer to previous blog entry), we went to the Retreat Resort at Siar Beach.
We went during off peak period, and in the middle of the week, so basically there was no one else, and the whole place was for ourselves. Yeay!
The place was that damn beautiful. Serene and peaceful. Great to getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We then retreated to our beautiful chalet about 5 minutes walking distance from the beach, to get our rest.
Actually, this is our room. Not the chalet. Couldn't afford the chalet. :P Room for 8 but still very comfortable. And at a decent price too :)

Since no one else were using the pool, we had it all to ourselves. ^_^

Over-excited yo.

Pictures by the beach.
